Free plan, lifetime license, and privacy

Free and Pro#

The free license is not a time-limited trial. It includes all task-manager features with capacity for 1 InventTasks workspace, 1 Space, 5 ordinary Lists, and 50 open Items. Hidden system Lists do not consume the List allowance, and Items in an effective Done or Closed status group do not consume the open-Item allowance. Archived Items do not consume it either, though restoring them is refused when it would take you past the limit. Whole-vault self-hosted sync and the Vault browser are available without a Pro license.

InventTasks Pro is a one-time, personal lifetime license for the covered major version. It removes the task-manager capacity limits and can be used in your own vaults and on your own devices. It is not a team or organization license, and it does not promise free upgrades to a future paid major version. Privacy and security model#

• Task content, notes, files, calendar data, notification credentials, sync tokens, and secret-field passwords are not sent to SolidInvent by the plugin. They stay in the vault, configured services, or server you operate.
• InventTasks has no product analytics, advertising, or activity tracking. When a paid license is activated, the plugin performs a once-daily license-standing check with SolidInvent. It sends the license email encrypted to SolidInvent's key plus cryptographic proof derived from the license key; it does not send vault content or the license key itself. SolidInvent records a SHA-256 hash of the email, the request IP address, and the time for license-abuse prevention.
• Calendar OAuth, CalDAV, ntfy, and SMTP connect only when you configure them. Their credentials should be treated as secrets and kept out of shared screenshots, repositories, exported settings, and public Bruno environments.
• Secret custom fields use password-derived authenticated encryption. The password is not stored or recoverable, so keep an independent secure copy.
• Self-hosting makes you responsible for HTTPS, access control, updates, storage permissions, backup retention, and recovery testing.
